Idea

Agora is a smart marketplace app specifically designed to develop a connection between local buyers and sellers to trade pre-owned goods and household items. The concept was to provide a Personal Trading Assistant to assist users with clear navigation, secure listings, and an intuitive UI/UX experience for their local buying and selling needs.

Challenge

Trust-building and seamless navigation were the biggest challenges in developing this app. One of the most striking challenges was the local transaction security and map integration. The purpose of the app was to make the marketplace look clean and straightforward. It was quite a challenge to incorporate complex listing filters and user verification into an easy set-up that is both easily understood by the users and visually pleasant for the eye.

Solution

Our developers and UI/UX designers worked on the user-centric interface & intuitive search process to fix the challenges. The main goal of developing this application was to act as a Personal Marketplace Assistant and develop an interface with numerous functions such as Verified User Onboarding, Map-based Search, and Instant Messaging. It contains multiple screens in layered and organized elements to ensure a secure and smooth peer-to-peer experience.
